Slow Talks - episode 1
Introducing a NEW series! Sophie & Chesica have a casual chat about slow living, tiny homes, and moving to the other side of the world
I’m so grateful to forge connections with others around the world and bring their wonderful insights to you! Slow Talks will be an irregular addition to the regular CHF newsletter, featuring exchanges I have with others in the slow living and natural health community.
In this episode, I sat down (virtually) with
of This is Sophie Today. Sophie is originally from Belgium (not far from where I live in Germany!) and now lives in New Zealand with her husband and parrot in an off-grid tiny home. Her publication brings stories of Sophie's lifestyle, mixed with reflections on slow living and the importance of mindset. We had a lovely conversation on:How we each approach slow living
The challenges of this lifestyle
Tiny homes
Moving across the world
Lots in common
Turns out that we’ve both lived off-grid and in tiny homes, love parrots, and similarly define slow living. Despite our commonalities, she brings a unique perspective and I really enjoy reading her publication - which continues to keep me thinking and learning.
Needless to say, the conversation could have easily gone much longer and so, in some weeks, we will sit down again to talk more in depth about our experiences as expats and what it’s really like to move across the world!
Stay tuned and feel free add your questions in the comments section!
Thank you for being here.🌻If you enjoyed this, please let me know - your thoughts & support are greatly appreciated!
